Refund Policy

At Gear Barn, we stand behind the quality of our industrial cleaning supplies. If you aren't satisfied with your purchase, please review our refund guidelines below.

1. Eligibility for Refunds

To qualify for a refund, items must meet the following criteria:

  • Brushes & Squeegees: Must be in new, unused condition and in the original packaging. Once a brush has been mounted to a machine or used on a floor, it is no longer eligible for a refund.

  • Industrial Degreasers: Due to safety and hazardous material regulations, chemicals can only be refunded if the factory seal is unbroken. We cannot issue refunds for opened containers or leaked product resulting from improper storage after delivery.

  • Timeline: Refund requests must be initiated within 30 days of the delivery date.

2. The Refund Process

  • Inspection: Once your return is received at our warehouse, it will be inspected by our technician. This typically takes 2–3 business days.

  • Approval: We will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund based on the condition of the item.

  • Credit: Approved refunds are applied to your original method of payment. Depending on your bank, it may take 5–10 business days for the credit to appear on your statement.

3. Shipping Costs & Restocking Fees

  • Shipping: Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

  • Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., we sent the wrong brush size).

  • Restocking Fee: A 15% restocking fee may apply to large bulk orders or special-order items to cover handling and inspection costs.

4. Damaged or Defective Items

If a squeegee is warped or a chemical container arrives leaking, please take a photo and contact us at matt@gearbarn.com within 48 hours of delivery. In these cases, we will issue a full refund or a free replacement at no cost to you.

5. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us.
